After dark, the Nay Palad Bird Nest offers the rare thrill of sleeping beneath a canopy of stars, suspended above the wilderness with sounds of the African bush below.
Then, in the Maasai Mara, Cottar’s 1920s Camp introduces a different side of safari, where night drives uncover wildlife rarely seen by day and signature canvas baths overlooking the plains provide a peaceful end to each adventure. An optional helicopter flight with the Mara Elephant Project showcases this vast ecosystem and the conservation work protecting it.
Bawe Island in Zanzibar then changes the tempo. Stay in a spacious villa with a private pool, where contemporary design and easy indoor-outdoor living encourage you to relax. Days of swimming, snorkelling and doing very little make it a fitting finale after days on safari.
